Enemy AI randomly spawn on the world map. Some may be attacked by players in order to gain honour; however, they can also attack players, robbing them of honour and resources, and occasionally destroying village buildings. Honour can be gained by successfully defending against these attacks. Enemy AI cannot raze or capture players' villages.

Enemy Siege Camps
Enemy siege camps periodically spawn on the world map, sending out simultaneous attacks against all villages within the parish. The attacks gradually become larger and more difficult to defend against, before the finally ceasing and leaving the parish. The strength of attack depends on the player's rank. Players can gain honour by successfully defending against these attacks and lose honour if the attack is successful.
TIP: Enemy siege camps do attack players during peace-time but not if the village is under interdiction.
TIP: Enemy siege camps cannot be attacked.
TIP: Enemy siege camps do not cause negative popularity.
Diplomacy may be researched in order to decrease the chances of being attacked by enemy AI. The higher the level of research, the higher the chance of not being attacked. The honour a player would have gained from successfully defending against an AI attack is still awarded if the attack is stopped by diplomacy. If an attack is stopped with diplomacy the player will receive a report.
