The Sixth Age (Age VI) features a change of speed, abundant weapons on the map as well as a reduction in troop recruitment cost!

Exciting times are upon us, Sire! Your strength, endurance and cunning have served you well thus far. The Sixth Age is upon us and the changes that come with it add yet another layer of strategy and complexity to our world!

You will need to keep your allies close and eyes open as you carve out a path for your medieval empire in this new age. Old enemies and new rivals may emerge as the world prepares for The Final Age…


Gameplay Changes

A new rule set is now in effect:


  1. The cost to recruit troops in capitals has been halved.
  2. Movement speed has increased for Armies and Scouts, they now move at four times the speed of the First Age.
  3. Monk movement speed has been doubled.
  4. Weapons can now be found in stashes.
  5. Weapons can once again be bought and sold at markets.
  6. The max faction size is now 10 players.

NB: Please note that all features of the game world other than those mentioned above will remain as they are at the time of the start of the Sixth age. Players will retain all their villages, research, cards, points etc. As with every Age transition, all Factions and Houses will be disbanded at the beginning of the Sixth Age. The Capital forums will be cleared and all players removed from their elected positions.

Hall of Heroes

All members of the winning House at the end of the Glory race will have their names recorded in the Hall of Heroes, which can be viewed at strongholdkingdoms.com. This hall of fame is our way of recording the daring victories of the players, factions and houses who battle against the odds to become the only remaining house in their Glory Race. The names, coat of arms and factions of faction leaders and officers are highlighted at the very top of the page, with the House Marshal given special treatment. All other players are listed below and sorted by faction. Please note that winning players with potentially offensive names will be censored or renamed.

Age 5 Victors

Players who were members of the victorious house of Age 5 at the time they won the final glory round will receive the following prize at the beginning of Age 6:

  1. 6x Quest Wheel Spins
  2. 1 x Ultimate Random Pack
  3. 5 x Super Random Packs
  4. 10 x Random Card Packs
